Reply with quote | #16 | JT I guess what it means is that your body wants to weigh to 188lbs and it is where you will end up every time you stop meds unless you work really hard to keep of the weight. Unfortunately, like many others, my "set point" seems to creep up every few years and Ihave got heavier bit by bit. I have been on acomplia a month now and have seen a slow but steady weight loss of about a lb a week. I have been watching what I eat and walking every day. With how hard I find it to stay anywhere near a healthy weight I may find I have to stay on a low dose indefinately. Despite the cost if I don't get any nasty side effects it would be worth it to avoid the health consequences and costs of continued overweight.
